Description
The Nanomedicine for Drug Delivery NANOMED EMJMD is a 22-months-long curriculum offering a high quality education in the emerging field of Nanomedicine.
The design of nanomedicines for drug delivery requires combining knowledge from Pharmacy, Biology, Chemistry, Medicine, Physics and Engineering which makes the NANOMED EMJMD a highly multidisciplinary Master’s degree. The frame of the EMJMD has thus been elaborated in order to be able to welcome students from different backgrounds who would show an interest in the field of Nanomedicine.
NANOMED aims at filing the gap between basic training in Drug Delivery currently provided by most Schools of Pharmacy at Master level and advanced knowledge in Nanomedicine required for post-graduate young scientists. Participating to the NANOMED EMJMD will thus be a great opportunity for future graduates to tackle Nanomedicine through multi-disciplinary perspectives and to be able to integrate the progress made in the field of Nanotechnology on the development of Advanced Particulate Drug Delivery Systems.
NANOMED provides both theoretical and practical knowledge for 3 semesters (Semesters 1, 2 and 3, 30 ECTS each) combined with a final traineeship (Semester 4, 30 ECTS).
